Personal trainer Logan Montgomery hates flying anything except first class, but wants to get home to New York after two days working with first baseman Chase Walker in Toronto so he sits in coach. He is further anguished when the big butt female sits in his row. Thirtyish widow Holly Brennan always had a big body, but two years of caring for her dying husband made her enormous as food became her escape. She notices the hunk looks at her with horror of being seen in public with the fat chick.

Feeling guilty about his reaction to her, Logan offers to help her change her lifestyle. She accepts. As they work together, Logan reassesses his first impression as Holly diligently works at changing herself. When she begins to lose weight and gain self-esteem, his friends begin to see her as a sexy individual, which upsets Logan though he remains unsure why.

This is an engaging contemporary romance that looks closely at images. When the protagonists meet on the plane, the lead female is an obese individual whose self-esteem is extremely low at a time she still grieves her loss; while her male counterpart is a perfect confident hunk who has statuesque beauties clamoring to be with him. Although doubtful that Logan would make such an offer or the relationship ebb and flow the way it does to include a one punch knockout by a could have been contender, fans will enjoy the Pygmalion Effect of changing the Ugly Duckling into the beautiful swan.
