Forever, Texas deputy sheriff Gabe Rodriguez drives home when he sees a car teetering on the edge of a deep ravine. Fearing the vehicle will fall of he waits for help and kill the unconscious driver, Gabe makes a successful risky rescue. The victim he calls his Christmas Angel suffers from amnesia as she has no idea who she is or why someone cut her brake lines.

Angel feels safe when Gabe is near and fearful when he is not. Gabe is attracted to his Angel, but feels she is too vulnerable for him to take advantage of her; so he plans to do nothing about his feelings. She is willing to give up whatever is out there to be with him. When her past arrives in Forever, Angel fears she will lose her Gabe.

This is an entertaining romantic suspense starring a hero and the victim he saved. The amnesia theme has been used too frequently in novels, but fans will enjoy A Forever Christmas

with a need to know who Angel is and why someone tried to kill her.
