“The

Faraway Quest crew to the Rim in search of the Outsider vessel that contains
advance alien technology. Though
preparing for the worst, Grimes meets something even more horrific than he
anticipated.
“The Way Back.” Lost in space beyond
the Galactic Lens with no welcoming other star vessel anywhere in their
vicinity, and compounded by apparently no longer residing in their time period;
Grimes and his Faraway Quest crew
desperately search for the only way home: Earth. However, in wherever and whenever they are,
they learn Earth is a myth that never existed; while the angry crew considers
mutiny.
The John Grimes Saga VI contains
reprints of the last three novels (as described above) and seven short stories
(six of which are at the end of the long run).
The novels are pleasant swashbuckling high seas outer space adventures
with some fascinating twists.
