Kitty Katt-Martini finally comes home after a harrowing odd
adventure in a different universe in which she was the alien in two worlds
learning in both the identity of the enemy Mastermind; depressingly a trusted
close friend (see Universal Alien).
However, barely back while at a sudden emergency meeting to discuss what
to do re the Mastermind, Kitty and others are teleported to another planet.
They safely land in various potentially hostile locales. Kitty arrives in a purely deep purple realm
accompanied by Chuck Reynolds and Christopher White. The trio assumes others from their meeting
were sent here too, but as they search they find other sectors are mono-colored
but of various hues. As they seek fellow
exiles banished to this unknown weird world, each wonders why them and how to
get home.
The eleventh Alien madcap science fiction (see Alien In The House
and Alien Research) is a frantically-paced and jocular thriller that is fun to
read but also frustratingly delays the anticipated confrontation even with a
fascinating glimpse at what awaits them at home. The latest realm showcases Gini Koch’s
imagination and skill as Stranger(s) in a Strange Land
(Robert A. Heinlein) seemingly mindful of Peter Max’s colorful Pop Art.
