romance taking a backseat to the efforts to find the cure and the culprit
hampering the progress. Though the
motive of the villain and that of an accomplice seem weak, readers will feel
they are inside of Dead River alongside the researchers, the sick people and
their expected soon to be sick loved ones struggling against a deadly virus.
