Her new partner George Pinkman seems okay though he cherishes stirring up Cadence’s eccentricities; while the new office superstar Dr. Emma Jan Thyme makes her nervous.
However, Cadence and her sisters go wacko battling for the lead role when they meet gorgeous Dr. Max Gallo. Desire must wait over the objections of her internal pests as Cadence and George work to prevent another serial killing by a predator who murders a fourteen years old boy every year.
The second Jones’s sisters police procedural (see Me, Myself and Why) is a fabulous thriller that starts off crazy with Shiro shaving poodles and Adrienne handcuffing George while Cadence has to clean up after them. The key element is that the three siblings possess dramatically different personalities that MaryJanice Davidson deftly maintains. The murder investigation is the only serious element as the Jones trio battle for control of Cadence’s body.
